With Mochiyuki by her side and hiking gear on, Adelaide sucked in a deep breath of fresh air and took her first step into the verdant forest. She hadn't gone hiking in so long! And, quite frankly, she wasn't sure she had the endurance for it at this point in time.

Nevertheless, she'd been told by a friend of hers that the warden at the Safari Zone had a surplus of Eevee here! And there was no way the pink-haired belle was going to pass a chance at befriending one. So here she was, well-stocked and prepared— albeit a little bit out of shape, hehe!

IMMEDIATE FUR BABY. Wow, what luck! When she squealed and ran towards it, however, it flinched in horror! The sheer shock of the situation caused it to freeze in place as the Glaceon and its trainer approached! Thankfully, however, it relaxed when she crouched down beside it and started scratching beneath its chin.

"Such a cute baaaaby." She hummed happily, scratching behind its ear now as it purred and rubbed up against her arm. "You wanna travel with us? I'm sure you'd like it! Mochiyuki here could be your big sister." She nodded, reaching into her bag for a spare safari ball before presenting it to the Eevee.

Adelaide was shook when a Chansey suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started gifting them soft-boiled eggs. She hated soft-boiled eggs! But it would have been rude to refuse the gift, so... she stuffed hers in her back instead. Mochiyuki, on the other hand, happily ate hers up.

Not having anything to give the Chansey back in returns, Adelaide dug around in her bag for a moment... until she grabbed one of the empty safari balls and held it out. "Maybe... you'd like to join us on our adventure?" She sweetly smiled, crouching down a little to meet eyes with the healer.

Adelaide and Mochiyuki came across a bulb half-buried in the ground. They inspected it curiously for a moment, but when it twitched and spooked Addy, that was it. Not wanting to be the victim of a stun spore or a sleep powder, the pink-haired lass was quick to move on.

She’d seen the power of Grass-type pokémon first hand in Fula City. And, though she had Hazel the Deerling, she still didn’t know quite enough about the type to approach them with confidence in the wild!

What a precious lady-cat! So much grace and poise! Addy couldn't help but squeal a little, honestly. She rushed over to meet it, though slowed when the cat flinched and backed away.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry, cutie!" She softly apologized, Mochiyuki approaching calmly in tow. Leaning down to try and reach eye-level with the cat, she smiled and reached out her hand. "I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to meet me and Mochiyuki? Maybe... maybe you'd like to travel with us, too!" She beamed.
